Torzon Market FAQ & Support Center
Welcome to the official Torzon Market FAQ. This document is the primary troubleshooting resource for the platform. Due to the high volume of support tickets, users are required to check this page before contacting administration. 90% of issues regarding torzon deposit not showing, login failures, or order tracking can be resolved by understanding the market's automated systems.
Important: Torzon support will NEVER ask for your Private PGP Key, your Mnemonic Seed, or your password. If someone claiming to be "Admin" asks for these on Telegram or Reddit, they are scammers.
Deposits & Cryptocurrency Mechanics
This is the most common inquiry. The torzon market wallet system is automated, but it relies on blockchain confirmations.
For Monero (XMR): The market requires 10 confirmations to prevent "double-spend" attacks. On the Monero blockchain, a new block is mined approximately every 2 minutes. Therefore, a deposit takes roughly 20-30 minutes to appear in your balance.
Troubleshooting XMR:
1. Check the transaction hash (TXID) on a block explorer like xmrchain.net.
2. If the block height count is less than 10, just wait.
3. Did you send XMR to an old address? Torzon generates a unique sub-address for every single deposit. If you sent coins to an address you used last month, please open a support ticket with the subject "Sent to Old Address" and include the TXID.
For Bitcoin (BTC): Bitcoin requires 2 confirmations. If the network is congested (high Mempool volume), this can take 1-4 hours. If you paid a low mining fee, your transaction might be stuck in the Mempool. The market cannot credit funds until the miners confirm the transaction.
There is no strict minimum, but deposits under $5 USD may not cover the network fees required to consolidate inputs. We recommend depositing at least $10 worth of crypto to ensure smooth processing.
WARNING: NEVER DO THIS. Exchanges like Coinbase, Binance, or Kraken use Chainalysis software to track where coins go. If you send directly to a darknet market, your exchange account will be frozen, and your identity may be flagged to Law Enforcement.
The Correct OpSec Path: Exchange -> Personal Wallet (Cake Wallet / Electrum) -> Torzon Market.
Withdrawals & Processing
If your withdrawal status says "Pending" or "Processing" for more than 30 minutes, it is likely due to the Cold Storage security protocol.
To protect user funds from hacks, the market keeps only a small percentage of coins in the online "Hot Wallet." If many users withdraw at once, the Hot Wallet empties. It must be manually refilled by an admin signing a transaction from the offline Cold Wallet. This process happens twice daily (Morning and Evening UTC). Please wait 24 hours before opening a ticket.
If the status is "Queued," you might be able to cancel it from your wallet page. If the status is "Processing" or "Broadcasted," it cannot be stopped as the transaction has already been sent to the blockchain nodes.
Orders, FE & Escrow
Finalize Early (FE) is a privilege granted to top-tier vendors. It allows them to receive your funds before the item is delivered.
Risk Assessment: When you accept an FE order, you waive your right to Escrow protection. If the vendor exits scams or disappears, Torzon staff cannot recover your money. Only use FE with vendors you have researched thoroughly on Dread or who have thousands of positive reviews. For 99% of transactions, stick to standard Escrow.
This is common for domestic untracked mail (standard envelopes). Tracking numbers are a security risk; they create a digital trail between the vendor and the buyer. Many vendors only provide tracking for large bulk orders.
If the order is marked shipped, the "Auto-Finalize" timer starts. If you do not receive the item before the timer runs out (usually 14 days), you must extend the timer or open a dispute.
Vendors often encrypt tracking info or notes using your Public PGP Key. You will see a block starting with -----BEGIN PGP MESSAGE-----.
1. Copy the entire block.
2. Open your PGP tool (Kleopatra/GPG4Win).
3. Go to "Notepad" or "Clipboard" -> Decrypt.
4. Enter your private key password.
If it fails, ensure your Public Key in your profile settings is up to date and does not have expired subkeys.
Dispute Resolution Guide
The torzon dispute system is designed to be fair, but moderators rely on evidence. Here is the protocol to ensure success:
- Do not wait: Open the dispute before the Auto-Finalize timer hits 0. Once the timer hits 0, funds are released and cannot be recovered.
- Communication: Message the vendor first. 50% of disputes are solved by reships.
- Evidence: If the issue is a "Selective Scam" (empty box), video yourself opening the package from the moment you cut the seal. This is the only proof accepted for missing items.
- Responsiveness: If a moderator asks a question, answer within 24 hours. If you go silent, the dispute will be awarded to the vendor.
THIS IS A SCAM. Never close a dispute until you have the money in your wallet or the product in your hand. Once you close a dispute, the funds are instantly released to the vendor. A legitimate vendor can issue a refund through the dispute system; they do not need you to close it first.
Account & Security Issues
No. Passwords are hashed and salted; admins cannot see them. The only recovery method is your Mnemonic Seed.
If you lost your password AND your seed, your account is effectively dead. Create a new account. If you had funds in the old account, they are unfortunately lost (burned). This strict policy is necessary to prevent social engineering attacks where hackers pretend to be users who "lost their keys."
If you are trying to verify the site and get a "Bad Signature" or "No valid signature" error in Kleopatra, YOU ARE ON A PHISHING SITE.
Phishers create exact replicas of Torzon. They intercept your login. The only way to tell the difference is the PGP signature. The real site is always signed by the key ending in 10FC. If the signature fails, close the browser immediately and change your Tor identity.
Go to User CP -> Settings -> Security. Paste your new Public Key. To save the changes, you will be required to decrypt a 2FA challenge using your OLD key. If you lost access to your old key, you cannot change to a new one (to prevent hackers from locking you out).
For Vendors
The vendor bond is currently pegged at $500 USD (payable in XMR or BTC). This bond is held to ensure you follow the rules. It is refundable when you decide to close your shop, provided you have no active disputes and no scam reports.
Yes. Established vendors from other verified markets (Archetyp, ASAP, Abacus, Bohemia) can apply for a waiver. You must prove ownership of your profile on the other market by signing a message with your PGP key. Open a ticket titled "Vendor Waiver Request" for instructions.
